SEAG Registration Process

SEAG Registration Process

The Schools’ Entrance Assessment Group (SEAG) is open to all post-primary schools in Northern Ireland which use academic selection for all or part of their Year 8 intake. SEAG includes Controlled and Voluntary Grammar Schools and Integrated Schools in its membership.

SEAG provides an Entrance Assessment with standardised outcomes (results) for pupils transferring from primary school to any of the schools which use SEAG outcomes within their Admissions Criteria.

Step 1

Parent/Guardian Registration

Parent/Guardian will be able to register any pupils on seagni.org when registration opens.

Step 2

Pupil Application

Submit the information to seagni.org and request the location of the assessment centre to attend.

Step 3

Essential Documentation

Upload necessary documentation such as identification materials, birth certificate and passport size photograph.

Step 4

Optional Documentation

Provide documentation to support your request for access arrangements (if required).

Step 5

Payment

Each application requires an administration fee of £50.00 (via seagni.org). Free School Meals Entitlement (FSME) will not be required to submit a fee, but must provide necessary verification.

Step 6

Registration Complete

Your completed registration will be confirmed through the online system.
