SIMS Parent App Registration

Follow this guide to register for the SIMS Parent App using Google or Microsoft.

Before You Begin

Third-party Account

You need an active Google or Microsoft account. Remember your login details.

Registration Email

Look for an email from noreply@sims.co.uk containing your invite code. Check your junk folder.

Child's Date of Birth

Needed for verification. Use format DD/MM/YYYY unless told otherwise.

Registration Process

Step 1

Access Registration Link

  • Find the SIMS email and click the registration link.
  • Click the button: "REGISTER WITH EXTERNAL ACCOUNT".
  • Your invite code should appear automatically.
Step 2

Choose Method

  • Register via Google or Microsoft.
  • Do not enter your email and code manually in the text boxes.
  • Click the Google or Microsoft icon button to continue.
Step 3

Authenticate

  • Login to your chosen Google or Microsoft account.
  • If already signed in, select the correct account.
  • Authorise SIMS to access your name and email.
Step 4

Complete Details

  • You’ll return to the SIMS page after authentication.
  • If the invite code field is empty, enter your Reg number now.
  • Enter your child’s date of birth (DD/MM/YYYY).
Step 5

Finalise Registration

  • Review your details.
  • Click “Register”.

Look for confirmation that your account is active.

After Registration

Downloading the App

Signing In

  • Open the app or website.
  • Choose the same third-party login as before (Google or Microsoft).
  • Enter your credentials and sign in.

Tip: Use a private browser window if you face login issues or conflicting accounts.
